Bukkit server plugins not working?

Hey all, I know this is a common question but I don't Have the right answer yet, basically the problem that I
Am having is that the plugins that I'm download and putting into my plugins folder aren't working can anyone help please?

Try be more descriptive, also paste your server startup log using www.pastebin.com

 

I mean that why i drag the plugin into my plugins folder, then i start my server up, the folder with the config.yml and other stuff does not coming up, for example i tried a guns plugin and the folder and config did not pop up when i started my server

kimb00p some arent like essentials and iconomy, but some are like factions and quicktrade

Did you also install mcore for factions?
