Hi Bukkit! I come to you today with the idea of a simple portal plugin. I have been searching the website looking for a plugin like this that works and have not been successful. Here is my idea: Plugin category: Teleportation Suggested name: SimplePortals What I want: I would like a simple portal plugin with a fully customizable portal shape and portal material. I'd like to be able to create portals that don't require signs, buttons, etc. You just walk into it and boom. I'd also like it if you could change the destinations of the portals with a command, and create a custom message that shows up on teleport. I'd like to be able to make portals by selecting an area and filtering certain blocks out, like the plugin here: http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/bungeeportals.19/ One more thing I would like is the ability to change some settings in a config.yml file. I also need multi-world support. I am currently running multiworld. Ideas for commands: - /sportals tool - Sets the item in your hand as the portal selection tool. - /sportals create <name> <filter block-id> - Creates a portal in the filtered blocks. - /sportals set dest <portal name> - Sets the destination of the portal. - /sportals set tpmsg <portal name> <message> - Sets the message to display when a player is teleported through a portal. - /sportals delete <portal name> - Deletes the portal defined. - /sportals info <portal name> - Displays information of the portal defined. - /sportals clear - Clears your current selection. Ideas for permissions: - sportals.use.<portal name> - Allows a player to use a certain portal. - sportals.create - Allows a player to create a portal. - sportals.tool - Allows a player to use the /sportals tool command. - sportals.set.dest - Allows a player to use the /sportals set dest command. - sportals.set.tpmsg - Allows a player to use the /sportals set tpmsg command. - sportals.info - Allows a player to use the /sportals info command. - sportals.delete - Allows a player to use the /sportals delete command. - sportals.clear - Allows a player to use the /sportals clear command. Beatlynx I do believe CreativeGates is doing everything you want it to ^_^. I have it on my server as well!
The no-bumping-within-24-hours-of-you-previous-post-rule is in place to reduce spam. And by the way, CreateiveGates AND Multiverse Portals does EVERYTHING you are asking for and MORE. Just use WorldGuard for the messages.
There isn't "some other crap" being mentioned in this thread. MultiVerse-Portals is perfectly capable of what you'd like to have done, and the rest are people telling you the rules (that you should have read beforehand anyway), since you're apparently not willing to follow them. Now, be more respectful to other members, as they are volunteers, not paid workers (we don't allow monetary work/offers on our forums, by the way).
