MY computer is getting really laggy because of my server should i change to some hosting company? and i got an ip can i use it insted of the numbers the company gives you for the ip???
MCPhantom It all depends on what your computer can support. You can and should host on your own computer if it has enough RAM and CPU (Internet Speed) to handle it. Obviously if your computer (like yours is), is laggy, then go for a hosting company. I currently use a company called 'FluctisHosting', and they are GREAT! Good luck!
Majority of stock computers do not have good enough hardware to handle a server. I suggest going with a hosting company however, you would not be able to keep your IP.
MCPhantom If you mean the domain (like a website address) then yes, you should be able to point it at the server the hosting company provides. (unless it's on a different port)
