Minecraft credit screen question

Hey,
I know how to send the credit screen packet, but is there a way to modify the text which is shown in the credits? Or is this handled client-side, but this would be odd because the "thoughts" are english in every language...

 

The credits screen is handled client side, so it seems impossible to edit it via server side

 

Wolfram1 But why is all in english, instead of my selected language?

 

It seems that the language files do not contain the credit screens, so the default one is used(English one).

 

I would assume because it's a poem written in english and languages don't change it...or it hasn't been translated.

I'm trying to learn how to use packets, I'm really confused with the parameters and arguments so could you please post your code of sending the player the credit screen for people like me who are trying to learn these features? Thank you!

 

phips99 I think the credits can be changed in the resource pack. I believe Dinnerbone is implementing server-side resource packs in the next update.

AstramG http://wiki.vg/Protocol#Change_Game_State_.280x46.29 - instantiate the packet, and set packet.a = 4 and packet.b equal to the players game mode id.

 

AstramG chasechocolate Found some maybe interesting stuff with this packet which is not shown in the wiki! You can set the packet.a = 5! After the packet sending the demo screen shows up! It's like you are having a demo version of minecraft.
