I just found out that if I accidently click on the craftbukkit.jar file in my server folder that it will start it and run it in the background. If I go to task manager I see it as a javaw executable running. If I join ''localhost'' I join the server?. I also don’t get a server dos screen (black window) it just totally runs in the background?. It also won't load the plugins or permissions (from the folder the craftbukkit.jar is in). If I stop it with task manger (because you can’t use /stop for some reason while on the server) and restart it will regenerate a whole new world. Now I was wondering where does it save the worlds and how is it possible to start?

Thanks for helping me solving this mystery,

When you don't run through the batch file, you don't get the console view, its always been like that, but when you run the batch file, is it pointing to the same Craftbukkit.jar as you accidentally ran?

But what world does it use then? Where are the files located?
