So, what I was thinking about for a plugin is where you can craft a keypad like this where I = Iron ingot and R= Redstone dust. I R I R I R I R I It is an iron block named "Keypad". When you click on it it brings up a crafting table GUI with the 3X3 crafting area filled with black wool. The first black wool (This is going Left-Right Up-Down) Is named "1" the second "2" and so on up to 9. When you place the block down, you enter in a 4-Digit number, and the code is set. The block can not be broken except for it's owner. From now on, whenever you enter in the correct passcode, it will send a redstone signal from all of the sides of the block and close the GUI. If it's incorrect, it won't send a redstone signal. If it is next to an iron door, it will make the iron door unbreakable until the block is broken. Also if the keypad is there, the iron door won't open with any other source of redstone except for the keypad. Command ideas: /kp admin (requires keypad.admin permission or op.) unlock a keypad one time by clicking after you use this command. Permission ideas: keypad.admin (for /kp admin) keypad.make (able to make a keypad.) keypad.use (use keypads.) That's it, and I hope this won't be too hard.
XxShadow_NinjaxxX Lol I'm pretty sure he's wanting the plugin to be protected from that, haven't you ever saw any item GUI plugins? dragonfreak1000 I think it's a great idea, I would make it if I had the time.
I don't think you can stop them from crafting the iron block into ingots tho maybe use a command block?
Thanks for the compliment! Well the plugin can prevent any iron block named "keypad" from being made into ingots. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
dragonfreak1000 Players can place the block, pick it up, and have a brand new iron block free from any display name.
You would have to store the block's location via config, metadata, etc. and detect when they break it again, then change the drop so that this wouldnt happen.
"Used" as in you made the plugin, or "used" as in misspelled "use"? If the 2nd, I would be happy to make it. EDIT: OK wow, this signature really doesn't work.
Yes I do like the idea of using a command block except for the fact that you can't destroy command blocks in survival, so I guess we could add another command /kp remove (keypad.remove) that next time you click in a keypad and it's yours then it destroys it and gives a command block to you that's named "Keypad". <removed double post - use edit to edit your posts - Necrodoom>
