    Hi,

    I have just installed bukkit 1.6.2 beta build. And have noticed that my ram usage keeps climbing until it eventually reaches 90% (after about 6 hours) i have to restart the server and then the process starts again. this wasnt the case with 1.5.2 and it just started a few days ago. All my plugins are up to date and they are all popular plugins so there shouldnt be an issue with them. Heres a list anyway:

    WorldBorder,
    AutoMessage,
    WorldEdit,
    CoreProtect,
    Buycraft,
    Vault,
    PermissionsEx,
    WorldGuard,
    Essentials,
    EssentialsSpawn,
    PEXRank,
    EssentialsChat,
    Factions

    Also, i have tried running a fresh brand new server and the ram still keeps going up. Here are my dedicated server specs:

    centos 6 (64 bit)
    E3-1230
    16GB Ram
    500GB HDD
    1 gbps uplink
    (Server hosted at SecuredServers)

    The server is assigned 14 Gb of ram and im using multicraft.

    Thanks,
    Paza

    Try removing all of your plugins to see if they are the ones causing the issue.
    • If the problem persists report it to Bukkit.
    • If the problem does not persist, add your plugins back one at a time to see which is causing the problem.

    I tried that and it still kept going up, but i dont see anyone else having the same problem, so maybe its somthing to do with my dedicated server? or OS?

    I am having the same problem since 1.6.2.

    I am also running:
    * WorldBorder
    * WorldEdit
    * Vault
    * PermissionsEx
    * WorldGuard

    I am still searching for the problem.. :/

    WorldBorder looks like it is this :D
    If not i am sorry but he did put this. Might be wrong but hope it helps :D
    • Added check to Trim process to make sure it doesn't drag on for too long per tick; shouldn't normally be possible on Trim process as opposed to Fill process, but I've had a couple of reports indicating it might rarely be an issue.
