I've been doing some searching and I was unable to find such plugin. So basically want I need is a plugin that is compatible with factions that provide the following protection:
    • New factions have 7 day grace period to build and prepare for battle. (Their land can not be /f claimed nor can they claim other faction's land.)
    • Factions can use /truce and be protected for 24 hours with an adjustable cooldown timer on use. (Their land can not be /f claimed nor can they claim other faction's land.)
    Optional:
    • Essentials chat prefix: "$f_status" or "$fstatus" That displays whether or not the faction is under protection or not.
    Information about my server:
    • Name: CruelCraft
    • Version: 1.6.2
    • Bukkit Dev build
    • Type: PvP Factions/Survival
If you have any questions please add my skype: Bizzman09
    Thanks!

There is a serious flaw in this protection system. When the protection is over, players can delete the faction and create a new one making a "new faction". Because they don't have any land claimed, it wouldn't matter if the faction resetted. Create Faction --> Do whatever for 7 days --> Delete Faction --> Repeat --> Unlimited protection

There can always be a global cooldown.

i agree with him.. you would have to find a way to overcome this problem if the plugin were to be made

If you think this wouldn't work, please suggest another method to prevent new members from claiming veteran faction lands.

Petitioning to remove a good plugin? Am I the only one that finds it a bit sad?
