Okay I just updated my server to 1.6.1 and there has been a lot of errors. The main one is the End of Stream error. Just about every 5 seconds it will say End of stream /(some random IP) in the console. I think it means that a player is disconnecting before even joining but i'm wondering if that means that a lot of people are trying to join and they can't. If that is true a lot of people want to join my server. Also, if it says End of stream then the IP of a player that is online they are kicked and has to restart minecraft. Sometimes it even happens to me! Is there any way to fix it. It is a very annoying error and it spams the console so I cant see what else is happening. Here is some info about my server if you need to know:
Server version: 1.6.1 latest development build
    Server hosting service: RedstoneHost
    Server IP: 176.31.6.2
    Server type: Bukkit,Towny,mcMMO,Economy,PVP,PVE
Server error message: [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for /##.###.###.##
Also if you feel the need to you can join my server and see if you can connect. If you can or can't let me know. Either way I want to know.

The End of Steam error is very common with servers including Vanilla servers. What happens is that the server stops sending data to the client. There is no long term fix for this.

They changed the protocol for the way the client requests the list of multiplayer servers. I wonder if the end of stream error is related to that. Maybe if if someone is using an older client, it causes the error.

I just confirmed that every time I look at the multiplayer server list, either from the Minecraft 1.6.1 client or from a PHP script I use, results in an end of stream error.

I have 3 No-ip hosts that work perfectly fine to connect to my server, and another host through my domain that gives end of stream when trying to connect. Seems it also depends where the host redirect comes from.
