So I was thinking about hosting my own minecraft server on my pc

    Here is my connection speed:

    Download 70MB/s
    Upload 11MB/s
Thinking about hosting a 20 player server, (I'll handle the CPU and RAM)
I will be hosting the minecraft server on a different pc of what I play minecraft on.

I was wondering about what bukkit plugins use (RAM or CPU) because I need to know if plugins will soak up all of my ram on my pc.

Short answer is they use BOTH. Depending on the size of the plugin and what it does will determine how resource heavy they are.

Keep in mind of database-related plugins as well...they can be hefty on RAM as well as CPU.

Assuming it's a relatively modern desktop connected via Ethernet, you should be OK.
