    Hi all,

I have a somewhat new server and my users are complaining about mobs not spawning in the grinders they create. Here's a picture of one the grinders that should be spawning all sorts of mobs, but it just sits there empty.

They spawn fine everywhere else in the server, just not in grinder rooms. Also, not sure if this is related, but when I fly around to different chunks during the day, zombies and skeletons will appear when the chunk loads. I find it to be strange that they spawn as soon as a chunk loads, even during the day. It's like they're not de-spawned or something.

I'd bet you're having the same issue as we are. After a restart, mobs spawn everywhere just fine, but as more chunks are loaded, mobs stop spawning. I'm looking for a fix now and will reply if I fix it. Also, could I get a list of your plugins, so that I can cross reference them with mine?

Is this in a world guard region?

I don't know about his, but I don't use worldguard. It happens everywhere for normally spawned mobs. Mob spawners work fine. I have another bug that might be related to this. The garbage collector isn't unloading any chunks. It runs, but it doesn't do anything. So, looking into fixing both of these issues.
