Ok so my server got griefed again (I rolledback it) But I put my server into offline mode so that my bungee could connect but then some hackers used nodus faked their name into shadow4881208 and got op! How can I prevent this?? Help me asap
The bukkit forums is not a place where we offer support for offline servers. You'll have to do some research on your own, but essentially this is impossible as the users can always log in as you since they don't have any name verification and don't need to use a password. EDIT: Well not impossible as there are plugins that have a secondary password verification that you can use google to search for, this will fix a workaround, and there are other plugins to help you with this problem for those people who like to run servers for the illegitimate players of Minecraft.
If your stupid enough to make your server offline, without any protection, such as passwords them of course your server's going to be hacked.
Unless you forgot to protect your server from anyone but the Bungee proxy from connecting or you are running Bungee in offline mode, they wouldn't be able to connect with a bogus name. Bungee does verify every name as long as it is in online mode.
You'll want to speak with the developer(s) of the Bungee mod for assistance with their software. Locking thread!
