    Pex doesn't work.

    It was the best until we switched.

    What you could do (or try), is copy the permission nodes, write out the essential parts for 'groups.yml' (i.e. the layout etc), and when you get to the part where you write the nodes in, paste the ones you copied into the new one.

    Probably wont work though, but worth a shot. Unless you wanna re-write every node again (;

    You cannot paste into a YML file, it doesn't work.

    What is wrong with your PEX? What makes it broken?

    I use MCPC+ and that doesn't work with PEX

    Well it might work but when I copy and paste in my permisssions and click save it doesn't save. So I don't know if somethjng else is broken. But like you said pasting a yml doesnt work.

    remove space in group name on line 667, try move out per world permissions and see if it does anything.

    But does it work with MCPC+? Is there a fix? I love pex and yes it is more reliable.

    owned24 Funny, I paste into my YAML files ALL the time and it works flawlessly. Listen to necrodoom, he is an expert in things essentials/groupmanager.

    not saying I do know everything...however, i have been using group manager since beta and well, i always copy/paste my nodes to save on work. I also make sure my TABS are replace by spaces. I haven't had a single YAML parser error in ages.

    funny thing is, I bet now I said that I will have one >.<

    Ok well is there a fix for Pex with MCPC+? I DON'T WANT 2 SWITCH!

    That would all depend on what error you are getting with PEx on MCPC+.

    There is no error with Pex, but it doesn't work.

    Okay, then perhaps saying what doesn't work will help someone find a solution.

    Ok when I download Pex and then put it in my plugins folder, and then restart my server it loads perfectly. I copy and paste my permissions in, and then I do the normal command : /pex user {player} group set {group/rank}. When I do that it says "User Groups Set". But then the players rank never changes! What should I do.

    If the server was running when you copied the permissions.yml file in, you will need to do a "/pex reload" to get it to read the file. If you already did that, then post your full permissions.yml file and who you promoted to what rank. Also, how are you checking to see if their rank has changed?
