Different Orebfuscator and Orebfuscator Lite

Hi,
I've downloaded Orebfuscator on my server, but it causes a lot of world holes and lag.
What exactly is the different between Orebfuscator and Orebfuscator?

But anyway, I don't recomend you to use Orebfuscator. It causes really lag to your server.
Try NoCheatPlus. NoCheatPlus protects more then xray. It also blocks other hacks

 

I believe the OP meant Orebfuscator and Orebfuscator Lite. An NoCheatPlus doesn't block x-ray, they even recommend getting Orebfuscator on their BukkitDev page.

As far as I know, Orebfuscator is the best way to prevent x-ray.

 

Miscellaneous:

• Disable Zombe's mod (fly, noclip, cheat)
• Disable CJB's mod (fly, xray, radar)
• Disable Rei's Minimap (cave, radar)
• Disable Minecraft AutoMap (ores, cave, radar)
• Disable Smart Moving (climbing, swimming, crawling, sliding, jumping, flying)
• Restrict the OP management commands to a console usage only (disabled by default)
• Adapts to server sided lag for less false positives on heavy server load
• Using of BukkitAPIonly if the used CraftBukkit version is not supported NEW!

 

Nodus' X-Ray works perfectly on servers that have only NoCheatPlus as protection.

 

It's pretty annoying that the only way to effectively stop x-ray creates lag, but it's that or a ruined economy. D:

 

Orebfuscator lags REALLY bad. I really hate that plugin, but I don't want cheaters on my server...

 

try anti-xray. It will give users an allowance to mine the stones you config. for example, by default, it blocks diamond ore. so what happenes, a user logs in and starts getting mining points. after x amount of time, they can mine a diamond or two. An x-rayer will go right for diamonds, however, a normal player will not. This means, by the time a normal player hits diamond, they have enough points to mine it and all around it. However an x-rayer will complain that they cannot break that block. I also edited my config for gold and emerald and to add points for mining stone.

I think who orebofuscator is not a good idea. It kill the performance of your server.

My choise is anticheat who log all the diamond and Gold mined, and cross the information with the log of other block.
When it collect enought information it send you a report and it say, " look a this man, maybe is in looking for a ban".
Just put vanish, god mode, and follow the bastard! When you have enought evidence, /ban Ip and bye bye...
