Inactive [GEN] DefaultCommands v4.0.0 - The "default" plugin [1.4.5-R0.2]

    Is there a way to use "/give" in the oldschool way? ( /give Name ItemID amount)
    Because I'm using "TooManyItems" a nice clientmod which uses a GUI to give a player the items but with your plugin it says

    and what is the format like?

    Ill add an option for it in V3. :)

    Take a look in kits.yml, it pretty straight forward.
    Just add a new line like this:
    kitname: id1:data1_amount1;id2:data2_amount2; etc.

    Please do /god mode in V3, it's the only thing that keeps me at Essentials at the moment ;)
    And also make it possible to disable the /mail notification in the MOTD, please!

    I tried typing it and even typing the full name of the player, it just doesn't work. It said something about expecting a number and no a string.

    Then, i tried testing it on extinguishing surrounding fire, it worked. But it doesnt extinguish fire on players.

    Can you do a quick fix for the problem to allow us to extinguish players on fire? Thanks!

    OH right. no wonder.

    yeah. I have world guard and it uses /ex but if yours is /ext it still conflicts? :eek:

    Hmmm. how about /fire <player> then if the player is already on fire, then when you /fire <same player name>, the fire extinguishes?

    WorldGuard takes /ex, /ext and /extinguish xD

    Naah, then you wouldnt be able to do /fire * :D

    Hey vildaberper, I would really love to use your plugin, but im facing some issues setting this up with permissions and group manager. I'm trying to replace essentials, it just seems.....suckish compared to what you're offering here, you know? Anyways, I added group manager and gave my mods the - 'defaultcommands.*' got rid of all the not wanted commands for them (The kick/ban specifically, haha.) And myself just the defaultcommands.*, But no matter what I try to do, whenever I login, it doesn't recognize me as an admin anymore, IT normally says "[Admin] Jesus' In Red, not It just says "Jesus" In White. Does this plugin conflict with with the setting up or groups and users? It's very frustrating and I'd love to get this working, thanks. If you read all this, I appreciate it even more. Looking forward to adding this to my server!

    Do you use iChat or ColorMe?
    Try HeroChat, some users report that other plugins conflict with DefaultCommands in some way.

    Hey, Thanks for the fast reply, No I don't use herochat, The only things on my server right now are WorldEdit, WorldGuard, Authentication, Nether, and Craftbook. Any other suggestions at why this is doing this? I could send you my GroupManager file if you'd like a look at that, just lemme know. Thanks in advance.

    What plugin is adding [Admin] to your name?

    That would be the GroupManager, It's the Admin group, and that's what it Auto-Defaults to.

    Hmm, I guess its the mute that overrides that.
    Try disabling that feature. :)

    I was having an issue with this plugin. It took me quite a long time and a reformat later to figure it out.

    I host a server with about 30 players on average connected. After about 30 minutes to 2 hours the CPU usage from the server would spike to 100% and I'd have to terminate it. I reformatted and installed ubuntu for better performance and it still did it. So than I disabled all the plugins and it ran fine for a day. I enabled them all again and it froze.

    So than I copied over the server files from the server to my computer, and it froze again. Yours was the most recent plugin I added and once I disabled it, it was fine.

    It usually happened once a few people were set to status "Afk" than the server would spike. I'm not sure if its something wrong with the plugin itself, or if it conflicted with another plugin. I was using CB 556.

    If you find that this was an error on your part please let me know when your plugin is updated as I believe it to be better than any other general plugin.

    I'm actually having a similar issue. It appears home and spawn commands still try to hook in even if you have them disabled in the config file.

    Also, Any thoughts on implementing group spawning (like SpawnControl)?

    No, they really are. It says "Permissions: GroupManager or Permissions" then has a Spoiler tag. You click that, then scroll about 2/3 of the way down the spoiler. There it says:
    "defaultcommands.warp.self
    defaultcommands.warp.other

    defaultcommands.setwarp

    defaultcommands.delwarp

    defaultcommands.warplist"

    The last three are demonstrably wrong. They should be the ones I listed above, warp.set, warp.del, and warp.list. I am 100% sure of this, it took me half an hour of trying different things before I gave up and pulled the data out of your source.

    On the new version you should probably streamline your permissions setup as well.

    The way they are:

    If I want to disable teleport functionality I would have to disable 5 nodes when I should only have to 1. 'defaultcommands.teleport.*'. Hierarchical permissions exist for a reason.

    The way they should be:

    Yeah, Im making every plugin separate, and releasing them as a package.
