I Need Help

I have just made my own bukkit hamachi server and i have put my IGN (exact) into the ops.txt file but when i go in game i am not opped. Also i cant type any commands into my server.log i dont know if this isnt meant to happen or is but i have no way of stopping the server/restarting it to update my plugins and i need to be opped.
Any ideas on how i can get opped?

Try typing op <yourname> into console.

 

Try deop'ing your self via the console, and op yourself through the console, and restart it.

 

The console is the same as the as the server.log file aye?
