Ok, first off, I love your server guys, it is AWESOME. Second, the community is great from what I have seen in posts. On to my noob question.

Ok, I am running an offline server my home (wife and 4 kids), I am hosting up to 4 individual servers at a time using different ports for each, having 4 instances running. I keep reading about the "Multiworld/Verse" stuff.

I have the following mods installed for server:
    Bukkit
Bukkit Essentials w/o permissions (not needed, private server only)
    Lift 31

Do I need to add another plugin? Will what I have work?
I tutorial type answer is preferred, as I am clueless. I read somewhere that all I need is the essentials plugin, but, my mileage is varying... lol.
Also, how much RAM should I allocate to the server running the proposed 4-5 worlds? Currently I am running it with 8GB and my client with 8GB on the same machine, using 4GB each for the 3 remaining servers. There are 4 other PCs in the house that play, and my sons friend has my IP to connect from his house. Thanks again.

EDIT for LaxWasHere: OK, Can you tell me how to setup a server that ONLY people I want to can get on, AND, I can walk over to the ones using bad language in front of my young children and slap the dog crap out of them? Then I will run an online server for the 8-14yr olds in my house.

EDIT for necrodoom: What is a Whitelist and how do you use it? Would that also entail my connections going from my gigabit LAN over my SLOW internet and back to LAN? Or would the computers just directly connect and verify through my LAN? I live in an area where 384kbps downstream is like $50/ month.

Sorry buy we do not support offline mode servers, please buy the game and provide usernames next time.

Nightcreeper its not an issue to run online-mode + whitelist for private server.

I run a server for my 10 year old son and his friends ON-LINE, I use the "WHITE LIST" it is like so easy my 10 year old can set it up. AND because I run it I also limit the kids time on it by removing them off the white list at a certain hour at night. Parenting is A LOT of work in the gaming world and yes it can be done with little effort. no need to ever be off-line to control what happens or who is on your server.

Locked. For what you want to do, offline mode is the worst way to achieve that result.

Use online-mode=true. Have all players buy the game and make sure you utilize the website.
