Lately my server has been having TPS lag, i used to have straight 20tps. Now im hitting like 12-19. So i would like to add basically a performance monitor to my webpage. I'm looking for something that displays the server TPS and stuff. Or if someone can solve my issue. I am running Tekkit 3.1.2, which is the equivalent of Minecraft 1.2.5. Website is http://www.drmayhem.com I have just a player list for now, and i want to add the performance monitor below that. My server is pretty stacked so idk why its lagging i7- 3770K 4.4Ghz 32Gb 1866Mhz Ram
How many players when the TPS begins to drop? How many plugins do you have installed? How exactly would a performance monitor help in any way when your problem is lag? Are you sure those specifications are legit? (Sort of obligated to ask because some hosts aren't entirely truthful about specs)
I run just a small server, because my current internet options limit me. So around 5+ people are always on. I have about 20+ plugins, this only started happening yesterday, i had even more before today. When i am not home i want to be able to check my websitr and how my server is doing. This is off my computer so i know everything about it
Thats odd I have very similar specs except for the internet speeds. What operating system do you use? I'd suggest (basically) and linux. From there I would find a server script where you can use for example: /etc/init.d/minecraft status and get the status. I use Minecraft-init. From there install OpenSSH and configure it so you can connect from either your phone / laptop / whichever device you want. You need to open port 22 if you want remote connections with SSH. SSH is also very powerful, you can run any commands remotely which can be very helpful. It's infinitely better then web guis since it will likely uses less bandwidth and isn't limited to what you manage to make on your site. Back to your problem, it could very well be one of your plugins. You should post them so either me or someone else can further assist you with your problem.
