I recently upgraded my server from 3 gb to 4 gb using Beastnode as a host. When the server was 3 gb I used the essentials command /gc and the ram allocation started low and slowly climbed up to 3 gb allocation after about a day. The server ran great while the ram wasn't all allocated. When all the 3 gb was allocated it started to have tps lag so I restarted and everything was fine for another day. Now when I use /gc command with the 4 gb upgrade it says all 4 gb is allocated right after startup. This causes some tps lag often. So my question is why is it like this? I liked it before when the ram allocation climbed up to full because it made less lag. I would also like to rule out any map or plugin problems because this started happening right after I upgraded.
