    Hi all

I have an idea for a plugin (not sure if there is one, I can't find it)

When a new player joins a server, they are given items from a player.dat (rather than a kit)
the player.dat could be kept in the plugin folder or something so that it is not thought of as a player by the server?

Advantages of this: Books with written text, items with custom lore & names and other things like that.

If there is already a plugin that does that, please leave a link. Otherwise, anyone that could make it would be amazing. I am working on a new type of RPG server than runs mainly off commandblocks and need the plugin.

    Thanks

I think this can be done but wouldnt you need a real account used to copy the items.

Ya you would probably create an inv of what you want it to be then have a command that saves that.
Then on the first time they log in they would have their inv set to that.
Not to complicated but I am busy with toher things at the moment.
Hopefully what I said will help someone interested though.

I want to use player.dat because books don't keep their data if you spawn them in. However, if you give a default player.dat you can specify the text in the book. Also things such as hunger, health. Finally, custom item naming & lore is the same as books. (to my knowledge).
