Need help with Logblock/MySQL on external host server

I'm setting up plugins and permissions for a server for a friend.
Its gonna be a public server so we need a plugin that has rollback and such and Logblock caught my eye.
I've worked with most plugins before, but never one like Logblock and i don't really understand the MySQL part.
What makes it even more difficult is that the server is hosted by someone else (I use multicraft to add plugins etc).
Can anyone explain what exactly i have to do, because i asked for the hosts MySQL data and they said i could just make it.
