I'm using CB 1.2.5-R1.0 with a handful of plugins. However, even without the plugins installed, some users are not able to craft certain items. Only certain ones, and it appears random. Three we've found so far are bread, snow blocks, and dispensers. Even ops and people with all permissions cannot craft them. Any suggestions? I found the issue. Somehow, the wheat I harvested has a damage value of 7 on it, and you can't craft with that. Any ideas on the cause? I may be troubleshooting the same problem. In my case, it seems the item id is wrong. The problem comes and goes but, basically, players randomly can't craft certain things. Common bad items include sugarcane, gold nuggets, gold ingot, wheat, I think redstone. I can't alway reproduce it but at one point, I found that I could grab some iron ingot from creative, go into the dark, and then I couldn't craft anything with it after coming back into the light. I've been trying to get this fixed for over a month.
This problem isn't just on servers either. In my single player worlds I have issues not being able to craft items. Granted some of them are modded items but I cant even craft a piston. I can spawn them in with NEI or with creative mode but that kinda ruins the whole feel. I believe its a block ID conflict but some modders dont feel the need to add properties files so Im stuck having to either give up the mods causeing problems or just cheat to be able to do normal crafting.
