I know that somebody has probably gone over this already, but I'm seriously confused. I'm creating a server and I've watched like a million videos, I have a Windows Pc, I've followed the rules but on the Run.bat file, I got the run link to create a world when you double-click on it but it says: unable to access jarfile craftbukkit.jar. When I first did the instructions, it said can't reconize java as a internal or external command, but I fixed that by redownloading java, and now it says unable to access jarfile craftbukkit.jar. I heard about the 64 bit and 32 bit download, and i downladed 64 but because I have a 64 bit computer, but Java told me to download the 32 bit too, so I did. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I could really use the help thanks!

Hmm manybe I was wrong. I remember downloading the 32 bit, but when I go to computer, then control panel, then uninstall a program, ( which shows you all your programs ) it's not there. ALl thats there is: Java 7 Update 9, Java 7 Update 9 ( 64-bit), and Java(TM) 6 Update 25. I seriously don't remember that last one. Maybe i should try uninstalling that one?

go to computer and open up your harddrive (it should have the computer brand name) and look under programfiles(86x) for java. if its there you have a 32-bit java

btw what is the coding and directories for the run.bat and craftbukkit?

I have no idea if you change it or not. I didn't know we were supposed to.

If it says unable to find craftbukkit.jar there's no file by that name in your folder. Perhaps it's named craftbukkit-1.3.2-R2.0.jar right now? Rename it if so. ;)

yeah what he said; right-click the run.bat and click edit. make sure the name for craftbukkit is the same for the program and the coding in the run.bat

Ok, no offense but that makes no sense. This is what I have in my craftbukkit folder. I have the craftbukkit download named, craftbukkit.jar, then i have the run.bat with the coding in it, then i have the run thing that when you double-click on it, it makes a world or whatever. Is that what you guys are trying to explain? ( Still confused: getting nowhere )

Yes I still need help. I followed the instructions, did exactly what the videos told me, and why does mine not work? I have no idea.

okay (punching wall to keep calm) what you need to do is go to the folder that holds craftbukkit, right-click on it. and on there it should say edit (if not go to "open with" [or something like that] then open it with notepad). then when you do that copy and paste the contents of the note pad on here
