It's a lot of idiocity that I find a simple black marks system would ammend.What I want: I'd like to see the ability to give people black marks. They would start with 0 and each time they break a rule I could add a mark or two to the user. At set intervals, custom commands would be run from the console. At, say, 5 marks I could have the console perform the command /mute <player> (the config would specify what commands run at what level and <player> would substitute for the player in question).It would be nice if the plugin would subract a point every x hours of play, too.a simple design plan for the config:(excuse me if I'm too clueless about configs)3: mute <player> 2 d5: mute <player>8: tempban <player> 2 d10: ban <player>This would give each associated black mark level an assosiated punishment. I may be able to if i have time, probably tomorrow. and i think i saw your other one, and it said [REQ] in the tile, and in the rules it says not to Cause i have this kinda in my server's private plugin, i could just pull that out and put it into a separate plugin
I can see a few flaws in the system already - for example, some people clearly come on the server just to grief and you want them out as fast as possible, and also if a player's offences are not chat-related they will not be slowed down by a mute.
Last one was old and had a report filed against it. This is fine, also I can't really merge it... sorry...
K, so i ended up starting it, then realized i had another commitment, so i'll try and have a beta for you sometime tomorrow.
