json/xml Minecraft Info Repository Idea

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a centralized repository of data for minecraft, like the wiki only available via json or xml or whatever else you may want. This service would host stuff like images for blocks, categorization info and such for said blocks, maybe some bukkit info as well. Maybe even an update list you can pull from to do auto updates and what not. Any interest?
