    Human~

Looking for a plugin that sets the entire world into one huge grid either measured by chunks or 50x50 plots from a central point on the map. (works with worldborder also)

This may be very close to towny/factions/pstones, but hopefully with a diffrent mechanic.

    Economy Mechanics
    -------------------------------------------------------
Player1 finds a nice spot, types [command here] and buys that "plot", this plots border is replaced by a wool ring (emblem?) to let the player know his border. As he builds said plot into "Le~Castle" it logs the ammount of blocks placed by that person, thick walls = better protection.
(XPB plugin tracks blocks placed rather easily, just rewrite to track placed ^-^)

Player1 can then recruit "helpers" or an army, whatever is perfered. When these "helpers" build the value of placed blocks is reduced. The Lord building = a more valuable area that what his helpers built. Example:
Lord places 5 cobble = +5% to overall value of land
for a pesant to equal what the lord placed would need to place 20 cobble for a 5% bonus. But if you have alot of people, it can add up quick.
(this is just a very rough example, cobble would'nt be worth much, a castle made out of diamond blocks however...)

To prevent 2 "bases" siting side by side, no "newly created" bases can be made within a 5 grid block radius. To prevent powerful "bases" from taking over as soon as a new "base" is created. New bases cannot be taken withing "X" ammount of time.

Player1 becomes "lord" of said plot and must stay inside his keep to "defend it", if he leaves the area the keep may be taken over (lord loging off = leaving the keep). To prevent abuse the lord may appoint 1 other person as his right hand man to defend. Only the lord may take over more land and he may also defend, the "right hand" may only defend.

This makes the Lord of the area paramount, if you wish to expand your borders, you must risk capture wile you're out taking over other places. Plus since you can only have 2 people to defend, making allies is also a priority.

Adjacent land "plots" you own add to the over all % of the blocks placed: example:
lord placed down 1 cobble wich adds 1% to the overall value of the land, if the lord takes another adjacent plot, that cobbles' value goes up to a total of 2%. this will make taking down the keep harder, and hopefully promote rival areas to fight with "frontlines"

Winnign a war would requitr either:
1: Killing lord in his main estate (assassination also viable method) (if lord is not online then righthand is the target, if righthand is not online then the area is won.)
2: Taking over all territory by force. making adjacent land a must have, if all you have is your keep left, you're forced to surrender)
3:Diplomacy? can merg together lands if both parties accept. (still only 1 king and right hand can exist)
    4: Open to suggestions.

Winning a war would result in:
1: increased land size (more land you own the more harder it is for enemies to "take down" your keep directly)
2: Anything else the server itseld decides to add.

    War mechanics
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Now lets say Player2 has done the same thing, and wants to take over Player1's place. "war" could be done multiple ways.
1: either a mod/admin types a command to initate server wide war
2: automatic "war" time and peace time. 3 hours of peace time then 3 hours of war. (configurable)
    3: war 24/7

Now player 1 and 2 are now at war.
The means of "winning" would be tearing down what the other team has built, all the while defending yourself from the defenders. And breaking what the lord has placed = better "points"

Or killing the king, or all his members in the field.

"points" referd to as a percentage of what is still standing to the persentage of whats broken. if player1 placed 10 blocks and player2 broke 5 of those, then the ratio is 50%...simple. During war, you cannot build in your own area, but can still destroy for "sacrafice" purposes to set off traps. this will prevent a team in the rear just placing a ton of cobble blocks. (maybey have a ratio to the blocks, for each block placed the value of another one is decreased slightly.)

This is a combination of most of our ideas in one post, there is alot of "balancing and tweaking" needed to make this idea totally solid.

Also, just typed this up just incase there was not a plugin out there that does this.

I honestly dont care if anyone "steals" this idea here, I'd just like to see the plugin in effect.

    Feedback appreciated ^_^
