What the hell. I don't even xD CraftBukkit build 432jnks, FluidDispensers 0.15, no errors in console. It's no longer dispensing water, but it's throwing water buckets from dispensers that aren't even wired to the button I'm using to test this xD I'm testing on a lone dispenser right now instead of the "dense configuration" I had when you came to look earlier/yesterday. It's a modification of that circuit that only powers ONE of the 16 dispensers

Well, there is lots of that I can't explain, but try this:

    1) Use this instead: http://www.sendspace.com/file/u2mdtv
    2) Make sure the dispensers are full of buckets

Individual now works. Will edit post with results of multiple once I fix the circuit.

The "high density" setup I showed you now seems to work flawlessly. Anything you might want tested?

Excellent news. Everything should be working fine now then.

    -stone plate
    -4 doors each side
-lava dispenser with all sides covered, wired to plate.

    So much traps!

Hello, I have been sent by my cmd prompt to ask you to post the update source for your plugin here. (Links to the CraftBukkitUpToDate plugin forum, apparently the dev implemented plugin updating)

Hi. I'm supplying a dispenser filled with water buckets with a constant redstone signal it only dispenses water for about 1 second and stops after that. Is this right?

Yes. It dispenses a 3 second pulse of liquid. That's just to prevent it being used for griefing on servers where buckets would otherwise be disabled.
If you supply an oscillating redstone signal, you can get a more continuous flow

I'm loving this plugin. Made a farm with a water dispenser at the top to wash all the crops down and now I'm working on a lava trap.

Every now and them tje dispenser eject my buckets though. As terrifying as having lava buckets shot at me is, it isn't much of a trap. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

I would also love this even more if instead of a 3 second pulse, the dispenser dispenses for 3 seconds or however long it is powered. Building a big clock to keep the flow constant is annoying.

That's just things being glitchy. It's rather a hacked together plugin (quite a lot of things this plugin needed to do weren't supported by the bukkit API as such), so don't be surprised if it doesn't work every now and then.

I'll perhaps see about adding an option file in the future for that.

don't know if this is a bug in bukkit or your plugin:
powering the block to the side of the dispenser (i was trying the feature to dispense out the bottom) caused it to eject a bucket. putting redstone wire on top of the dispenser fixed that
wiring redstone through the back works like normal (at least, normal as this plugin is concerned [IMG] )

This is good news! I uninstalled the plugin as nonfunctional, but I can certainly deal with simply making sure the top of the block has power!

When I do it the first time, it works fine, and continues to work fine as long as I only do it once every few minutes. But if I hit it again just a few seconds later, it ejects all the buckets. This happens even if the redstone is running over the top of the block. Pulser circuits are out of the question. Maybe it would be a better idea to do this instead with a directional block that doesn't already have a redstone function and doesn't burn, such as stair blocks. Wooden stairs for water and cobblestone stairs for lava? Just apply current and they'll dispense. As it is, you're trying to override the hard-coded functionality of an existing object, rather than simply adding functionality that wasn't already there. I can see this being very problematic. So it'd honestly be better if you'd just recode it to use specific directional blocks rather than trying to reuse the dispenser.

What's the reason I only get my buckets back? all 9 slots have lava bucket. using redstone and a lever, yet nothing but my buckets come out.

This plugin needs to be updated. It won't work with the latest builds of Bukkit.
