    Safari-Plugin:
    Version: v3.1
    Currently, this plugin only supports english-language.
    Multi-language support is an idea for the next-release.

    This plugin will enable players to enlist for a "safari". A safari will
    require the player to hunt down a given number of mob (of given types).
    Upon killing the last required mob, the player is rewarded a safaripoint
    (increasing points may activate new safaris for the player) and a extra-drop
    reward.

    Features (for players)
    • get special rewards from mobs which usually are not available from them
    • add fun during mob-hunts
    • get a special reward if you are the fastest guy to complete a safari (if your admin is generous ;) )
    Features (for admins)
    Configure the safaris individually for your server
    • which safaris are available
    • what drops are rewarded upon safari-completion
    • which mobs are neccessary for each counting in a safari
    • when mob-kills are counted (according to ingame-time)
    • how many safaripoints are neccessary to access each safari
    • activate safaris only on given worlds (important when talking about multi-world servers)

    • Finished record-time stuff (new command "showrecords", which is also callable via Console like: safari showrecords toSomePlayer which will send the records to this player... might be usefull if you would setup signs which can then send console-commands)
    • some formatting of messages (now with colors ;) )
    • verified Plugin to be compatible with Bukkit 1.3.1 R1.0 (compiled it, started the server and did some safaris)
    • start of team-safaris (not working yet, but initial coding-stuff is visible ;) )

    • fixed bug regarding mob-kills not counted
    • initial "competition" feature implementation
    • added configuration-support for "addRecordDrops" which will be used for rewarding a player if/when he/she creates a new record for a safari
    • some syntax corrections and formatting

    • translated the last german expressions to english
    • added message when trying to enlist for non-existing safari

    Hi,

    I hope so, too.
    Anyway, it´s already available and according to some feedback, it seems to have well hidden (if any at all) bugs ;)

    Also, many ideas already popup and I file them over at github, so as soon as this busy week is over I hope to add some enhancements (Vault-Integration, competition and team-safaris are likely the best candidates so far)
