    Description

    Survival Games have become popular in Minecraft recently, with the Hunger Games movie. The goal of the game is simple: survive. Players must adapt to the environment, find resources, and - most importantly - kill. The last player standing is the winner. The goal of this plugin is to allow players to run servers - whether big, public servers or smaller ones with friends - easily and make the experience more enjoyable. The hope for this plugins release is to allow admins to add maps, configure the plugin, then run the server and take the day off. Making the entire game automatic and requiring no admin at all.

    Features

    • Create a backup of the world to reload after the match
    • Automatically refill select chests with select items
    • Set players to spectate mode after death
    • Changeable time limit
    • Automatically restart and reload world after the match.
    • Allow admins to set hosts with simple commands
    • Keep track of individual scores
    • Allow live stats to be used externally
    • Store data in a SQLite file
    • Allow a server to load different maps in a map cycle
    • Allow multiple spawn points to be set up
    • Black or white list blocks that can't or can be broken, respectively, by players in-game
    • Voting to start a game without an admin
    • Selecting a button/lever to be triggered on game start
    • Kick players after death
    • Configurable peace time
    • Auto start with minimum players
    Spectate mode will god players, allow them to fly, make them invisible, and prevent them from interacting with the world. They can also teleport to players.

    Very nice, can you add so instead of voting it is a Count down once it reaches players expectation. Meaning 16 players must be on then the Count down from Configurable time?

    Hi, I have been looking at Survival Games Plugins and found this one. I really like how this one is made but i'm having trouble adding maps. I created a map in Survival and titled it Map1 then i opened my server and did
    /lsgm addmap Map1 and it said it doesn't exist. Is there a diffrent place i need to put it? Also I did
    /gamemode (my username) creative and it said that game mode ID doesn't exist. Whats the creative mode ID? please help...

    I keep getting an error when I try and create my spawn places, when I do /sg setspawn next, it gives me this error: Must be in an arena! An error occured while executing the command. Check the console. I do not know how to post the scrolling boxes, so here's my error. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I have already created an arena successfully and now I am trying to create spawns in the arena.

    Hey could you look into some of my ideas I talk about in here
    • Create a backup of the world to reload after the match Good
    • Automatically refill select chests with select items ok (But could you make so that when it reaches let say about 10 players in the game A message would broadcast saying Feast will begin In 5mins then it will state the cords were it is so like Feast will begin in 5 mins at x384 y73 z-142 and then it will broadcasr every min so when it reaches 4 mins it will say the same thing then 3 then 2 then 1 and then it goes in seconds like 30 seconds then when it reaches 10 seconds it will go 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 and a messgae will vroadcast Saying Feast has begun and the feast genertate chest and then they will be filled up with something )
    • Set players to spectate mode after death (could you add when a player dies They get kick from the server and cannot join back to the game is done)
    • Changeable time limit
    • Automatically restart and reload world after the match.
    • Allow admins to set hosts with simple commands
    • Keep track of individual scores Could this be set with sign on a wall so like set some some on a wall use a command like /scoreSign and right click the sign and it pop up the player name like Bob[2place]etc
    • Allow live stats to be used externally
    • Store data in a SQLite file
    • Allow a server to load different maps in a map cycle I like this but can you add like a 500x500 boundary and when they get to close a message will broadcast saing forcefield walk backwards
    • Allow multiple spawn points to be set up
    • Black or white list blocks that can't or can be broken, respectively, by players in-game
    • Voting to start a game without an admin (Its ok but look what i wrote be low me)
    • Selecting a button/lever to be triggered on game start (Its ok ^But could you make it so that way when people join the live thing well were it say Join server Free creative or something it will say GamesStarting in 10mins and broadcast till it reaches zero seconds and they get teleported to the spawn and the games beginand for the spawn thing could you add a command like /hgsetspawn and the spawn will be set)
    • (can you add like a 500x500 boundary and when they get to close a message will broadcast saing forcefield) walk backwards and if they still go they will be kick from the game also when the broadcast it would just message the player who get to close to forcefield so thats way they cant get out )

    Hi,

    This is the best mod I found for hunger game like, costumisation is easy and the concept is working.

    One problem, when party start it ignores another plugin i wanted to use (starter kit) tu give players one bread and a map.

    Can you change that or maybe implement it so thath when the games start it will give players a basic inventory (that you can edit) ?

    Also protect the spawn envirement for 5 minutes (not the players but blocks at spawn)

    I'm sorry but this just doesn't work!

    Main problem being hte back up doesn't actually work when the gameis over and the server restarts it doesn't fix anything! It also keeps bugging out majorly like i start the server a game will start and all is fine but then once its finished the server restarts, doesn't fix the map and just starts a new game automatically the moment 2 players are on instead of waiting 5 minutes for more people!

    Dude, you really need to read the tutorial !

    /lsgm addmap [nameofyourmap]
    /lsgm backup
    then create spawn point (from 1 to 50)
    /lsgm addspawn [1 to 50]
    then add chests but first explore map
    /lsgm addchest all
    then again
    /lsgm backup

    et voila!

    ps: /lsgm addbutton is still not fixed with latest bukkit realease!

    Some problemes I encounter:

    - After /lsgm start some users are spawning and don't see each other. Player 1 sees player 2 but player 2 don't see player 1, and player 1 can hit player 2. player can hit player 1 (blind) only with a weapon.
    - /lsgm addbutton [id] making server crash (also in you help it says /lsgm addspawnbutton [id] but command /lsgm addspawnbutton does not work, instead I use /lsgm addbutton [id] wich works but makes the severe problem after /lsgm start.
    - a player that is in spectate mode can drop items into the world. (which is not bad actually, they can be like sponsors :))
    - /lsgm backup, somehow backup won't work anymore. It reloads the initial (first) backup i made.

    Maybe you need some error logs from the server to show you this bugs, if yes just ask for and I will send it to you.

    Also your plugin stays the best and most easy to use plugin! Great plugin!

    This plugin will receive no more updates. I am currently going through tough times and am in between jobs, so I do not have time to dedicated to working for fun. I hate to not be able to do it, but I can't live without money to pay the bills. The other survival games plugins has many more features and finally does not require a MySQL server to run, making this one obsolete anyway. I hope that once things get better, I can provide you with a much more unique project that I can dedicate to.
