I now have released the a new version (1.1.4535) wich fixes some errors within the backup system and the automatic bukkit update. Also i hope that i now have fixed the jline incompatability completely.

    theloner : no problem :)

Hmmm.. It seems like the newest version (1.1.4535) is not working for 64-bit users. I have a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium and when I double clicked "BukkitServerGUI_64.exe", it shows this message:
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 or x64 version of the program, and then contact blah blah blah..."

    Hi,
the 1.1.4535 send continually at bukkit a string invalid, it reply in console [Info] ... type help... every 2 seconds.
When disable the webinterface the program crash.
    Same problem with x32 version.

    Tested only in Windows 2008 R2 x64.

It seems like there is a problem stopping/restarting the server. It just stops at "stopping process" and unable to close the GUI window. Had to delete the process manually.

theloner please activate the "JLine incompatibility" option at the micelleanous tab in the bukkit server gui. (you are using Windows XP do you? .. could you tell me wich OS you are using if not? Thx)

TheNewYorker : Wich OS do you use, and have you activated the jline incompatibility option?

I am having the same "stopping" issue. Windows 7 64. I was able to shut the server down by logging in and using /stop.

I will try the JLine option next time I turn it off and on again.

The "JLine incompatibility" worked for me. And no, I use Windows 7 64-bit.

    >@TheNewYorker : Wich OS do you use, and have you activated the jline incompatibility option?
there' s in my reply: "Tested only in Windows 2008 R2 x64" :)
    Is activate Jline.
Have many error not managed then exits often run-time error and the program stops.
After something more serious is that bukkit remains active and no way to control it, if not kill java.exe from task manager.
Restart your program is impossible because if it is chosen by the scheduler to start bukkit, does not open (door in use:p ).
The ideal solution would be to choose to if you want to hide the dos window bukkit; you hide it for default, not good idea...in not stable version...
Another problem is that you search use in primary World via *.dat files, even when users are wrong to write the name in client obviously the wrong name appears in the user list.
When "nobs lamerZ" use nodus, imagined how many users you are fake; your program unnecessarily wasting resources and not displaying a real situation:'(.
Integrate it with a plugin, type xauth (via choose)?

When I put on the Jline incompatibility I get a bunch of invalid commands in my log. Also it still does not stop.

Kanshunin I have the same problem as him, the type help thing keeps appearing every 20 seconds, flooding my server log.

Sorry for the issues, i will release a fixed version the next days, to avoid these errors, please use the 1.1.4454 version if possible.

The new version is out now, i hope i could fix the most problems you described. I also added a interval function to the scheduler, and fixed the bukkit ram usage bug.

    Hi Kanshunin,
how do I activate the window dos of bukkit? you still hide for default.
    Perhaps from shell string?

Currently it isnt possible to show the dos log, but it wont make sense also because the GUI log will show all neccesary log entries.

If you need a clean Dos window, then you should use Bukkit in its natural form.

I just tested the new version, working quite well. Although I still had to check the JLine compatibility box otherwise it will just stuck at "starting process".

Yes, i already tested it at home too, but many thanks for the Info anyway. I will make this option to be "activated" as a standard in the next version.

    Hi Kanshunin,
This is a really cool and useful program you have here.
A suggestion to make it better - can you add permissions management in it?
Also, can you set the window to me resizeable?
and lastly, is it possible to make the GUI refresh any quicker with the information from the server?

    Hi,
I like the look of your interface, but I run my server on a headless Ubuntu server PC. is there any way that I can run the GUI on my windows PC and connect to the server to administrate it?

Sure, you can use the webinterface of the gui, or you also can use a remote desktop software :)
