Can't use Furnace on server

    I and my 2 friends own a minecraft server. I use daddycheese as hosting, Multicraft for control panel, Filezilla for FTP and bukkit for plugins. I had to change spawn location because my 2 friends couldn't build there (even after changing spawn radius to 0) even though we are all admins. Also, one of my friends can't use furnaces but me and the other friend can. And one last thing, water doesn't flow. As you can tell I'm a noob and would like some help.

    and did you add in any mods to the server?
