    Is there a plugin that will remove or replace certain ores when generating a new chunk? I would like to get rid of diamond for my server and replace it with more iron. Since it is a survival/pvp server, I feel this would go better for new players.

    Yes, you're going to need a world generator. There are tons of them out there, just do a quick search and you'll find many. I believe TerrainControl is the most widely used, but don't quote me on that :p

    You won't be able to replace existing ores unless you used a tool such as WorldEdit, as world generators do not affect already loaded chunks.

    Also, just wondering, if you run a survival/pvp server, wouldn't you want to give the players diamonds? :p

    Using worldedit you can select two positions, and then do //replace diamond_ore iron_ore
    Just make a huge selection.

    Besides the fact that he asked for an automatic replacing, selecting a huge region with WorldEdit doesn't work for everyone. If you have a smaller server, it can't handle as many block changes.

    But yes, he can do that for all currently existing diamonds.

    lol I have played a lot of survival/pvp servers and I think what I have come up with will be interesting. In all I have played, everyone complained about the diamonds always getting the best of them, because most of the diamond was dug out and there was no way to get any.

    So I am making dungeons and a mobarena, where you will actually have to earn your diamonds instead of getting lucky o.^b It would be more rewarding, and there would be an unlimited supply :]

    ~~~~ Thanks for the help everyone ! :D
    Could I get a link? I can't seem to find this plugin... >.<
