Hello Bukkit! First I want to tell I'm not very good at english. ............................................................................. I'm here, because my server is lagging sometimes, and i don't know why?! Here is my virtual private server parameters: OS: debian-6.0 ( 64bit ) RAM - 4096 MB Disc space - 110 GB CPU: 8 GHz from Intel i7 And here's my plugin list: ............................................................................ As I sayed, I don't know why its lagging sometimes, but not everytime. Sometimes when in server are ~30 players, its lagging very very much, but next time, though there are ~50 players, everyone can play normally. What i think: maybe the host is too low, but i had the same problem in the past, before 2 months. Then I used other, not so quality host provider as now, and I had the same server with 4GB RAM and other things, then i bought better server with 8GB RAM, and the problem was still there. Then I started using better host with 4GB RAM, problem was gone for some time. What I think: Lag is caused by a player who is lagging with his poor internet, or is intentionally somehow lagging/flooding my server and sending something attacks. Maybe something like DDOS (I'm not sure what it is.). So, if anyone had the same problem and have solved it, please tell me what to do. And if that is what i think (The lagging player) maybe there is something plugin which would kick players with very high ping. P.S. I'm using CB 1.2.5 R-3.0, most plugins are for R-3.0, and plugins which are most outdated, they are not older than CB 1.2.5 R-1.0. You can look at my server. LOL, still using permissions. Should get what more plugins offer and use a superperms permission plugin like PEX. To get real here, Did you ever think that it might not be your server and the other people on your VPS can be using it at the same time?
