Plugin category: Fun/Admn Suggested name: EventManager What I want: This plugin is based on PvP events, spleef events etc... This plugin allows you to set spawn points for different events! So let's say i have a PvP arena and i want to hold a event.. First i ask everyone to type /join PvP, then this message will appear in the chat: "[PlayerName] has signed up for the next PvP event! Signup by typing /join pvp!" Then, when i think enough people has signed up for the event, i type /event start PvP and all the players that has signed up and that is online get's tp'ed to the event spawn point. /event [EventName] setspawn The plugin chooses 2 random people and tp's them to different spots, /[EventName] player1 setspawn and /[EventName] player2 setspawn. when the match starts, this message appears in chat: "[EventName] match 1: [PlayerName] VS [PlayerName]" I ask them to stand still, and then i countdown or do whatever i want to do... When a player kills it's enemy, this message appears, and the winner dies. "[EventName] match 1 winner: [PlayerName]" This goes on, player v player and the winners go through to the next round, and so goes on until it's the last one standing. Ideas for commands: /join [EventName] - Let's a player join a event. /createevent [EventName] - Creates a event. /[EventName] Setspawn - set's the spawn of people that has signed up. /[EventName] Player1 setspawn - Set's the spawn of Player 1. /[EventName] Player2 setspawn - Set's the spawn of Player 2. /[EventName] start - Start's the event.
This seems like the kind of thing you could just do manually... Tell your players to do /<your tp command> and then have the event, with someone to announce the winner. Not trying to downplay this, I just think it makes things more complex having a plugin.
