[FUN][RPG][MECH] Spawn more mobs after specified time

    Before I start, I want to say that I did read a few plugins already on bukkitdev and didn't find one that fitted my needs. Feel free to point me at one if it exists.

    Plugin category: Fun, role-playing, mechanic

    Suggested name: MobDay, Mobageddon

    A bit about me: I don't post much on the forums, mostly lurk, but I know what I'm on about and how to run a server. I dislike changing game mechanics too much (I like to stay with the default minecraft gameplay) but ADDING mechanics I am okay with. There's a bit more to it than that, but yeah.

    What I want: Firstly, I want to control the length one specific in-game night lasts. Then I want selected mobs to spawn in larger numbers and close to players at or after a specific time has passed. As examples; 2pm on saturdays, every 3 real-time hours, every 5 game-days, etc. (Random time frame would also be good, eg, between 1 and 20 minutes after time has passed)
    The mobs in particular I would like to have control over their health, damage, range-of-sight, see-through-walls-ness (line-of-sight), movement speed and ability to jump.
    I want to customise how many mobs spawn, how far away they spawn from players (in radius of blocks) and if they spawn from one point, flanking or completely surrounding.

    In a basic, first release I want to have:
    Between X and Y zombies spawn Z blocks away from ALL PLAYERS in a random direction after a certain amount of game-days has passed.

    Clarification: There is no arena or region or world. This is a GLOBAL event.

    Ideas for commands:
    md would be an alias for mobday, as in these examples:
    /md (shows all commands)
    /md help (shows all commands)
    /md minmobs (specifies the minimum amount of mobs to spawn)
    /md maxmobs (specifies the maximum amount of mobs to spawn)
    /md enable (enables the plugin, could be a toggle instead)
    /md disable (disables the plugin, could be a toggle instead)
    /md timepassed [UNIT]
    (specifies the amount of time that must pass before activating the mob-spawning events, UNIT refers to the specification of game days GD, real hours RH or real days RD)
    /md radius OR /md distance (specifies the minimum distance away from a player the mobs will spawn)
    /md save (saves all data, may not be needed)
    /md reload (reload config files)

    A later (and more advanced) release would have more commands. In the basic release I am fine with the commands: /md help /md enable /md disable /md reload
    Mob-specific configuration will happen in YML files as well as the above configurations.

    Ideas for permissions:
    All permissions will just be the commands, as I don't expect basic players to be editing the configs. Examples:
    mobday.help
    mobday.minmobs
    mobday.radius
    mobday.reload
    ... and so on

    When I'd like it by:
    I would love it to be done tomorrow, of course, but any time within three or four months is fine for a complete feature-full release. A basic release I would like within two weeks.
    Of course, I do not understand how complicated this will be so let me know if my time frame is ridiculous or almost-impossible.

    Mobs should be rather close to what you ask for. You can control when during the ingame clock they can and cannot spawn, where and (i think) how close to players. When it comes to changing the clock around you should make a request for just that because I've seen the lack of it. It's configuration takes a little time but I could help you if you would like. If not then you atleast get a free bump.

    this looks like a good plugin.
    does it into the might spawn more zombies, so like at 10PM u would have 100 mobs and then at 2AM u would have 1000 (just a random example)
    this looks like a fun plugin if it was made.
