Hello, as you probably have seen by the title, I'm having problems with worldguard. I protect my city by using the flag "spawn" (denies building and pvp). But also, I would like the users to build in my city when I select the plot they can build on. I define the region, make them the owner, but it says they have no permission to build. So, my question is: How can you protect the spawn area from building(griefing) and PVP of new users, while allowing members/mods/admins to build within the spawn on their own designated area? Thank you; I appreciate your time and effort to help me Anyone?;( EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
You have to parent the new place where you wanted the user to build, I'm not 100% certain of the command but I think it is something like this: /region setparent [The spawn region name] [the name of the place you want the user to build] Good luck =D
If you want to do that, first use /region define [region name for player]. Then you will use /region setparent [regions name] [player name]
Thanks for your reply! That seems good but I see an errors. The command doesn't seem to specify a particular person to the region. Also I flagged the spawn region with "spawn" which denies building, so would this override that? Ok thanks guys it worked EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
