Problems logging into my server 1.2.3

    Hello!
    I have a problem. I've set up a server yesterday. It's working, the .bat file is working properly, my server is shown up in a multiplayer panel list but once I try to join it says: "Failed to connect the server". Is the problem in a fact .bat file is running on the same PC where I try to launch the game, or is it different?

    So I should actually switch for 1.2.4 otherwise it won't work?
