Request: area protection for non-hostile mobs, placement of lava, use of poisons/flint+steel

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell, I am unable to do the following with worldguard:

    1) Protect passive mobs from player damage. Players hang out in a protected zone yet their pet wolves and cats are getting killed by other players.
    2) Stop lava/fire placement, specifically.

    Stopping lava-flow and fire-spread is VERY helpful with worldguard.

    My server uses worldguard to create a special "noob zone" in the noob zone pvp is disabled but players can mine for ores and harvest wood, food, etc before venturing out into the "wild"

    The thing is, they've figured out a way around the no-pvp thing. Primarily by walking around with a bucket of lava or flint+steel and setting players on fire. It would be very helpful if I could prevent this.

    Finally...there needs to be a way to stop players from damaging each other with splash poisions in a no-pvp zone. Players can easily kill one another in no-pvp zones by combining a splash poison with a flint+tinder

    I'm using worldedit and worldguard so the plugin would need to be compatible with them. Or work with them. orrr, you could just edit worldguard to work like I've asked above.
