CB Build #2052 seems to have a weird glitch causing the players to be invincible. I do not know how to reproduce this glitch but I have had many players experience this on my PvP server. Is anyone else having this issue with players not being able to hit others? They are not in godmode or creative and I am pretty sure that its a bukkit problem.
You could check the JIRA site for a bug with that. You're on the bleeding edge of dev builds, so there could be all many of problems for you. Also, howbout a full list of plugins?
I get this as well sometimes it randomly happens and makes it so I can hit other players but they cannot hit me or vice versa

WorldGuard and Essentials both have god mode, maybe more of those too. What kind of permissions do you give the people in question? You may want to post that file. They aren't OP'd, are they? No, my players are not OP'd and they do not have any permissions for either Worldedit or Essentials godmode commands. I even checked them myself and they were not in creative/godmode.
Well if it happens with no plugins installed or you're certain it's really a bug, you could file it on JIRA. Otherwise, you could drop down a few builds and see if it gets fixed. Good luck.
Haha, I had this bug all the way back in 1.7. Never found the cause but thankfully it stopped. I'd do as Tanite suggested and do trial and error with older builds but it may be hard to do if you can't reproduce the glitch easily.
