You have to first go to your server directory and delete the 'RUN.bat' file and the original craftbukkit file MAKE SURE YOU DRAG THE WORLD FOLDER...
No, not stupid. You can actually quite easily update later once the Recommended Build is out by deleting the Development Build in your server...
You can use the Development Build if you wish, but there will be bugs + errors not yet fixed which will hopefully be fixed for the Recommended...
