    Hello :)
I have a bukkitserver and I thought I had everything working but now I noticed I cannot place water! WTF

Please help me... I have all permissions cuz I am admin and have '*' node and all....

I have these plugins: Epiczones, Essentialschat, essentialsprotect, essentialsxmpp, iconomybank, moneydrop, permissionsex, spout, worldedit, chestshop, endertp, essentials, essentialsgeoIP, essentials spawn, iconomy, Register, Spouttrade, worldguard

Please tell me what could be wrong. I've checked some configs and found nothing......

It's essentials protect. Make sure the ID for water is not blacklisted. I believe the ID is #8 and set prevent water flow to false

Sounds like WorldGuard could be a potential culprit too. It has options for stopping water and lava flow.

ummm.. I think all my settings are right. Look

    this is my essentials config:
    Code:

    # If you want to use special characters in this document, such as accented letters, you MUST save the file as UTF-8, not ANSI.
    # If you receive an error when Essentials loads, ensure that:
    # - No tabs are present: YAML only allows spaces
    # - Indents are correct: YAML heirarchy is based entirely on indentation
    # - You have "escaped" all apostrophes in your text: If you want to write "don't", for example, write "don''t" instead (note the doubled apostrphe)
    # - List items are prefixed with a hyphen and indented:
    # lists:
    # - look like this
    # not:
    # - like this
    # - Text with symbols is enclosed in single or double quotation marks
    # - CraftBukkit and Permissions have been updated: CraftBukkit and Essentials almost always line up, but sometimes other plugins fall behind CraftBukkit's multiple daily updates
    # - You have saved the document as UTF-8, NOT the default, ANSI

    # For example, if WorldGuard and Essentials are both enabled, and WorldGuard takes control over /god, /essentials:god
    # will still map to Essentials, whereas it might normally get forced upon WorldGuard. Commands prefixed with an "e",
    # such as /egod, will always grant Essentials priority.
    # We should try to take priority over /god. If this doesn't work, use
    # /essentials:god or /egod. If god is set using WorldGuard, use /ungod to remove then use whichever you see fit.

    # About editing this file:
    # - DO NOT USE TABS. You MUST use spaces or Bukkit will complain. If

    # must configure it to "replace tabs with spaces." In Notepad++, this can
    # be changed in Settings > Preferences > Language Menu.
    # - Don't get rid of the indents. They are indented so some entries are
    # in categories (like "enforce-single-session" is in the "protection"
    # category.
    # - If you want to check the format of this file before putting it
    # into WorldGuard, paste it into http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/
    # and see if it gives "ERROR:".
    # - Lines starting with # are comments and so they are ignored.

disable both protect and wordguard, restart your server and test placing water. If you can place water then the issue is one of the two plugins (or both together?).

    Test these scinarios:

    both plugins disabled-

both plugins enabled - per your issue I guess this one is already filled out

    Only protect enabled-

    Only worldguard enabled-

In your plugins/Essentials/config.yml there is a row which says:
    blacklist:
    placement: 327,326

And so on.. Remove the number 8 and 9 from that line and you'll be able to place water. Also the number 326 for water bucket may be related, I wasn't sure on my server so I removed them without testing any further.
