What is Buycraft, and why does my Minecraft server need it?​

When a player purchases a product, it is automatically processed on your Minecraft server, and removes all hassle of managing payments by yourself. Safe?
I was using buycraft worked good with 2 persons.
But 3 others buyed with /buy they didnt get the package.
And the most important thing i dont get the money!
Not in paypal not a email not a msg in buycraft adminpanel.
Is the money just gone?
its going about 30 euro.
I hope there is a reason why i dont get the money.
Else it would be stupid that u can have this plugin on bukkit.
If u need it i have proof of 2 of the 3 transactions.

 

It has nothing to do with buycraft if you receive the money or not, I never even get the ability to interfere with the money you receive - so its something to do with your paypal account, not buycraft.

Im currently aware of a bug due to the 1185 update, im trying to sort it out, just no one is interested in giving me a hand as usual.

Buycraft is 100% safe and we have had a total of 170+ transactions for server owners with no problems.

 

So the money is gone?
It isnt paypall thats working fine.
Else there would be a message in buycraft panel that they buyed a package.
paypall is 100% safe and i trust that if your system idk.

Its 30 euro what players donated what i go tell them donate again it didnt work good.
cant do that please figure out whats wrong or refund the money.

 

Could it just be that it went straight through paypal and into the bank account associated with the PayPal? Because my transactions never end up in PayPal, they always go into my bank through my debit card.
Or maybe your users are just trying to con you?

 

I can tell you, i have nothing to do if you get the money or not, i dont control that, I never get an option to control "Where the money goes", so its either ure users never payed you, or its something else - but NOT buycraft!

and my users payd i have the transactions of paypall what sayd paid.
it was 3 days ago and i still dont have it.
i tested it with 1 euro from a second paypall account like 5 hours ago
also no money.
it jsut disapear somewhere.
I contacted paypall yesterday they sayd it was 100% safe and that it could not be there fault.

 

Check he the payments have completed and are not rejected or pending

 

they are completed they sent me a mail
with the a bill and confirmation email.
and i also tested it with my account
tthe money is jsut gone
not on my first account and gone from my second.

It still works for me, I am not sure what you guys have been adding to your giant list of plugins!

 

i honestly have a hunch that its mostly some obvious user problem..
theres a thing about codes..
if there was an error it would stop the transaction..
if he wanted to take your money it would be like trying to shove his hand into a printer and grab the paper after the first paragraph..
He could be you set it up to the wrong paypal or your typing something wrong .. i have a strong feeling its one of that.

 

I am not thinking he is stealing the money.
But im just wondering where the money is.
It cant be gone in air.
As i sayd i tested it and it just disapeared.
So i thought maybe a bug or something.
But i will look further in it i contacted paypall again and hopefull they have answers.

Now when a purchase comes out of the users paypal account is it set as a donation or a purchase? I need it as a doantion just incase my server goes down or something and they dont get what they "paid" for. I can say its a doantion and we didnt guarentee anything.

can you make something like when you type /buy id 1 and the URL comes out can you make it so that when you type something like /buy url or /buy web it goes to that website without having to manually type it?

 

Purchase, just add it in your website or something that you dont garuntee anything, and then the users cant complain.

No sorry, buycraft is a server side mod, a client side mod would be required for that

Yea, but tbh i just cant see whats wrong with entering it, it takes 5 seconds

 

With that its nothing wrong .. but you could use Spout to make buying more comfortable for the users like a graphical interface .. they can see the item .. more comfort

only issue is spout cant update as quick as craftbukkit on new minecraft builds

personly i find my users have a problem with the money bit....cheap skates

No problem, im away for a few days now, at least ive got the plugin updated.

 

i mean that you can whatch adds and get "credit" for it that you can use 2

 

I thought you might update the character length to 110 in the next build

 

Can you make it so that Premium Members can create their own WebShop sort of and give pictures/thumbnails for each item and they can just go to a website and get it there?

For example, Premium members can have their own page web-store like "www.buycraft.net/gatheringcraft"

And on that page, we can create a mini-webstore.

Also, thanks for this plugin, very simple to use!

EDIT - I also had a member purchase an item at $2.75 and I received the payment instantly. However, they did /buy claim and it says they have no claimable packages.

Here's the error :

It would be very good if the users could buy with BuyCraft Credits or Gold or something like that and with that Credits and Gold they could buy the Items.
