    In order to centralize support of our legacy projects, we will no longer be providing support on Bukkit. Please use www.spout.org for support with our projects going forward.

    Nice to read it :)

    Can you please make this fix asap ? We are a 500+ server that had to disable Spout and every plugin that depends on it because some bad players were using the bug to crash the server, intentionally.

    Nope, that would mean we would have to change tons of code in the Spoutcraft, and our only supported method is through our launcher

    We will add it when we can, it takes time to though because me and @Afforess (Normally replies with @SpoutDev) both have jobs during the week

    It only give you different versions of the launcher, I do not advise this, if you want versions of Spoutcraft that are dev, use the options page

    Ahh Im using a dev build, I will reply when you should restart your Launcher so it will autoupdate

    @alta189 sorry I should have said this wasn't with the dev build, it was the update you just pushed for the launcher. It did this when it checked if there was a new dev build, not actully running it.

    I suppose he's suggesting running this in offline mode, for a LAN party, perhaps? Are there any parameters as to launching the minecraft.jar (patched) to set the username, for example?

    Im working on the Offline mode(The same one in vanilla minecraft where you have to have logged in before, and your username will be Player like normal), that will be released tomorrow

    Found the issue restart your client, I had to disable the backup system till we get it functional
    EDIT: Wait 5 minutes till you restart your client

    Is Spout ultimately going to allow for single player and multiplayer client mods or is this mainly focused at multiplayer server/client interactions?

    I think he meant are you going to be able to add in single player mods to your client the same way you do with bukkit plugins.

    What I mean is that there are a lot of players that do not play online or multiplayer. They only play single player and there are a ton of client mods that are currently single player only. The devs of those mods do not seem inclined to want to support multiplayer at all. Will the interface you are developing allow single player client side mods or are we still not looking at a universal client mod system that works for both single player and multiplayer?

    That was exactly what I was trying to say I just apparently lost my control over the english language tonight. :)

    I'm glad you guys are thinking of both multiplayer and single player. If we don't have one unified system for both it'll still be fractured and cause issues for players.

    Blocks wont break. The chunks load properly initially, but then further movement would not cause the new chunks to load. I set the view-distance to 5.

    Ok all my plugins are using Spout now no errors are happening like before when moving around tho it breaks the world map, only one chunks that load are the ones your player spawns in when they login no more load after that.

    How is this stable when it does this to my world on second load, I narrowed this down as close as I was able to allow to spout as with bukkitcontrib this never ever happens and every time Spout or Spout related plugins have been installed I lose my map too a world of void.

    The only plugin I had last time I tried this was showcase so I'm going to remove that and see if it directly is the cause or this. The only other plugin using Spout is Logblock and I only installed that to today so I could move on to using Sprout over contrib without errors.
