Plugin category: Roleplaying Minecraft version: 1.13.2 Suggested name: RPNames What I want: Command Example : /rpname Bend Over Mike It'd then display a message in chat saying: "&cAre you sure you want to change your RPName? &aYes &8&l| &cNo Make the yes / no clickable so they can confirm their change. Command Example : /findname Bendover Mike &cThe current username name of 'Bend Over Mike' is &a{username} I'll be using a plugin called 'tab' and I'd like it to be able to work with a 'placeholder' if you could do so. If you could make it a placeholder in general I'd really appreciate it. If you could make it configurable, please make it where I can change the messages, and max character length allowed for the RP-Name. I'd like default to be 26 please. Do not allow color codes, do the default code as &7 / light gray. So it'd appear as &7RPName. Blacklist 'special' characters such as !@#, any the rest. Allow only the characters, ' - " - . - , - - -, || Each character is separated by a dash ( - ) Ideas for commands: /RPName name' /findname rpname Ideas for permissions: Default perms please. When I'd like it by: Within a week or two please.
ill attempt this however i don't know what you mean by this: "I'll be using a plugin called 'tab' and I'd like it to be able to work with a 'placeholder' if you could do so. If you could make it a placeholder in general I'd really appreciate it." could you explain what you mean please?
He wants placeholders so he can put them inside his tablist plugin (TAB) and have it display the RPname of the player. I'm sure PAPI's API would come in useful here.
As zThana said, also if you do it, I'll be able to configure it with my chat plugin as well. I forgot to state that while writing it, but it supports placeholders, so if you could please, thank you.
Sorry, for some reason I could not login yesterday here, but I already made it: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/rpnames-1-0.77369/
Hello, thank you for making it, the placeholders work swell with all my other plugins including tab, and I haven't encountered any bugs! But may I please ask for one last request / change? Can you please make a holder for 'two' things at once? Example: %displayName$rpname% This would make it where if you don't have a RP-Name it'd fetch your username instead? So then when you set a RP-Name it'd then replace your username with a RP-Name? Any who, I give you my deep thanks for making this! This means a lot to me.
Current placeholder(%rpnames_rpname%) works like you said already =) It return default username if there is no RPname
