I need a plugin that allows a item to be on a invisible player stand and rotates to where the body is facing, it will allow me to make a few with a command such as /tail <id> so I can turn it any item into a 3d model for a tail, the permission for the tail should be tail.<materialname> it also needs to follow you where you go and not be put in the hat slot, so players can wear armors while having a tail, if someone could make this, I would really appreciate it. It needs to work like a tails mod.

Plugins cannot do this. Only a Forge mod has the ability to modify the renders like that.

@Firestar311 Wouldn't putting the item in the hand of an invisible armor stand and moving that around create the same effect then?

the problem with it being in your hand or hat is that it moves about and doesn't follow your body, it follows your head so it detaches from the body and with the hand it would bounce and detach. I mean it might work if it doesn't bounce and it follows your butt like a tail.

For clarity did you mean Trails or Tails plugin, because there is a difference

Tails, I am planning to 3d model some tails and make it so that players can wear tails that I 3d model and they will be items or blocks that are changed into them.

Due to the 3D modeling aspect, this needs to be a Minecraft Forge Mod, which there are a few mods that add tails. A plugin does not have the ability to add this kind of feature into Minecraft.

I've seen it done, I just don't know how to do it.

And I am using resource packs for the tails, yes...

Talking with friends who develop Forge mods and Bukkit plugins, they say that even using resource packs, there is not enough support in the Bukkit API to allow this sort of modeling.

I will be using a single block as the tail

I have got it working but the plugin is too simple, it can be done. You can do it by making the player the armor stands mount and the item being ontop of the player, then it follows my body (where it is facing) and I change the 3d model to be where the butt of the player is so it follows.

Ok, yes it can be done, however the simple plugin is all that a plugin can do. to get more advanced features, a Forge mod is required.
