A ton of spam.

Is there anything that can be done about this? Add a captcha?
I'm getting over 100 fake mails per day since two days ago.

 

Can't possibly screenshot all of it. I do notice that most of the spam tickets are now marked as invalid and that the user is banned, but that doesn't stop me from getting a ton of emails.

If it keeps going like this, I'll just have to disable the ticket system...

 

You can see the content of the last email in that last link I posted. Why do you want to see this? Most of the users are already banned anyway. And I reported some that aren't. I'm asking that you add a captcha or something to prevent users from being spammed in the first place.

 

We have been dealing with an influx of spam into various projects tickets, with the project changing about every 24 hours. Not much we can do about it atm other than kill the spam when it hits.

No we can't add captcha to the old site, unfortunately. The code base is locked and we are not allowed to touch it unless its something considered a major security vulnerability.

 

So people will just have to live with the spam? potentially getting spam that could harm their computer/network

 

I know but I just find it annoying that because it doesn't affect them it isn't a priority/they wont fix it.
