Suggested name: StageActors

What I want: A plugin like
Actor - http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/actor/
&
NPCapture - http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/npcapture/
that will record a players movements and actions(including breaking blocks, placing blocks, jumping, ect), then play those movements back with a npc that can be changed. I would like it to be usable with a command block, and to be compatible with Citizens.


Ideas for commands: Basically the commands listed for both the plugins above.

When I'd like it by: There is no set time frame for this project and I would be happy if someone just attempted knowing this isn't the easiest plugin to code.

We are not allowed to modify existing plugins if you want that. We can make addons for it ect.

 

@JordyPwner He's not asking for a plugin to be modified.

@TootlesGaming What is it that you want done that these plugins don't do already?

@JordyPwner I did read what you said. You said "We are not allowed to modify an existing plugin if you want that." I don't see how that invalidated my sentence in anyway - you seem to be under the impression he might want a plugin modified, when he's done nothing to set up that idea.

 

@JordyPwner I wish to have a plugin made not be modified but I should have been clearer , sorry.

@AdamQpzm Both of these plugins are outdated and wont be continued so I would like to have basically these plugins(not saying copy). I want to be able to record an action, then save it, then have it play with an npc.

 

Outdated doesnt mean broken until proven,

 

@JordyPwner I have tested both these plugin on multiple servers and on multiple occasions and they do not work on newer servers(newer meaning 1.7.9, ect).

Bump.. please my server really needs this plugin made!
(I know its hard but if you could point me in the right direction at least)
maybe you could just update one of those plugins for me(if its allowed)
btw if you do preferably NPCapture its newer!

sorry for bumping so much and being kinda impatient and I know that the no replies probably means no one wants to make it, but I know a lot of servers like mine that could use this plugin badly and am only trying to help the community, not saying someone has to make a plugin from scratch but if you could point me in the right direction, ty.

 

@TootlesGaming what would the plugin even be used for? I understand what it does, but why?

 

@Rockdude_ I work on a theme park server, we build parks like Disneyland, Disneyland World, and Universal. Stage shows are a big issue because its hard to round up actors and we want to make the best experience possible, so we need a plugin so we can have automated shows with automated actors. Theres are a lot of theme park servers like ours and I would like this plugin made so the whole community can use it.

@TootlesGaming I have been in the progress of working on a plugin for this. It proves to be very difficult for the fact that modifying NPC's requires the modification of minecraft itself, rather than a bukkit api, therefore, it usually breaks with every new version of minecraft. I would be happy to keep you updated on the progress of the plugin.
