    This sounds stupid, but I need a plugin that allows the /execute command, and the @e target for 1.7.9. We cannot switch the server to 1.8 as it will ruin lots of the work we put into it. Can anyone do this for me?

    @Egpimp This is commonly known as sudo. Essentials has this

    But what about the @e? I need it for executing a command at an entity, not just from a certain player.

    @Egpimp At an entity? Example?

    Like a flying arrow, egg, or mob. Something I can do with this is

    /execute @e[type=Arrow] ~ ~ ~ summon LightningBolt ~ ~ ~

    That would cause a lightning bolt to strike any arrow entities.

    So do you think you'll be able to do it?

    Dangit. Why not, might I ask?

    Because I don't like the request.

    Ah. What's wrong with it? It could be so useful for servers with a version under 1.8

    I didn't say that there was something wrong with it. I just don't like it.

    Perhaps there is someone else who could do it?

    Just be patient and maybe someone will come! You're coming off as pushy right now and developers don't want to help people who are being pushy.

    Sorry for the pushiness, it was just something I wanted badly. My apologies :p

    It's fine, just know that if you do that it prolongs your wait to get a plugin (if you get a plugin).
