When I use "/help" on my server, I have 50 pages of help commands.

It would be really nice to have those "written down" somewhere. I was thinking a text file when I started this post, but now I'm thinking HTML would be a bit better. Or XML, which can be converted to either...

    ANYWAY...I don't think it would be too tough...something like "/writehelp {filename}"?

Does this sound useful to anyone other than me?

theGleep I made something similar, PermCommandLister in my signature link.

Sounds good - but the docs are a little ... sparse... :)

If I install it and run it, where does the list get sent?

theGleep The list will be generated in a html file next to the server or in plugins/permcommandlister

OP wants a list of commands, not add new ones.

I noticed, he wants a list from the commands though.

I want a "hard copy" of the commands available to me. I don't see that functionality listed anywhere.

    I'll give PermCommandLister a try!

timtower: can you tell me more about HumanitWorldRegen? Does it build the whole world in the background?

theGleep Not really, it regenerates parts of the world.
Config contains a list of blocks and what those add to the "humanity" of the area, when the humanity is too low then it will regenerate that chunk.

OK - I installed it and ran it, but no file created. *PLUS* when I run the command, there is a user "null" created - identified as being in Australia...

This is really suspicious to me...worth commenting *somewhere*. The fact that you have a couple of "legit" plugins reduces my suspicions somewhat, though.

I'd really recommend better documentation and an explanation of *why* this happens.

theGleep It shouldn't create a user... It shouldn't be able to...
And not really, more ore regenerator

    1. The plugin that generates the user, which one is that?
    2. I gave you the wrong plugin for the cheat sheet, you need CommandGetter instead.

And about the documentation: it is all on the original thread, I won't even take the effort to search, feel free to create documentation and send it to me.
It is an old plugin, noticed that people asked me how to use my older plugins, now I have a readme file in all my new plugins.

    timtower:
    Ah...I'll look at CommandGetter.

I *have* found a workaround, with BukkitGUI; type "/help" in the BukkitGUI input box (on the "general" tab) and the whole help is listed. So, if I'm not always changing my plugins, I could build the list once and be okay with it.

Odd that it does create the user, though. I'm seeing the user in the "Players" list in BukkitGUI. The user doesn't show up until I run the "ListMyCommands" from the BukkitGUI input box. Perhaps it's representing the non-player "Administrator" - BukkitGUI itself?

I don't see CommandGetter listed on your page - or searching the Bukkit plugins. I guess I'll just keep going with "the hard way" :)

theGleep You can remove the plugin from ListMyCommands, I should delete it. Or at least update the description...
