Post deleted because everyone doesn't understand the logic behind it. BjmBlake explained it quite well.
MrMdkrocks That would be fun if: you don't have skype, you don't want to share your skype, you are afk. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/spectator/ BjmBlake Yes it is indeed, but you can also have a custom client without using it EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
MrMdkrocks That is such an invasion of privacy to basically force players to screenshare with you or get banned BjmBlake No what he said is, a staff member with the permission can send a request to a player to screenshare and if they dont then that player will be banned. Even if the player might still be hacking that is still is a HUGE invasion of privacy Thats like me saying "Oh I think you might have stolen money from me, so give me your wallet/purse or else im putting you on house arrest" I'm not saying that's not what he is talking about He most likely does want it for hackers but just because someone has a hacked client doesn't mean they are hacking EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Since I donate on 95% of the servers I join (mainly just to help the owners) I use a hacked client to easily access certain features (mainly key binding)
Geekxboy but key binding isn't really in vanilla minecraft, so doesnt that make it hacking? Using a modified client to give yourself an advantage over other players?
I dont care if players hack or not the point of my initial post was that essentially forcing players to screenshare is an invasion of privacy You people obviously don't get the concept of privacy I'm done with this thread This plugin idea is stupid I'm unwatching the thread Don't tag me again EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Wow, this is... something. Not only is it an invasion of privacy, suppose I decide to share my screen and open up the vanilla client and not show my hacked client? What have I proven? Nothing. Ridiculous.
The sad fact that you have to screen share to prevent modders is ridiculous. Even NCP does a half decent job.
BjmBlake I'm not talking about the original post. I'm talking about the last one I replied to that you edited You know the one that said something very rude and inappropriate Don't worry the staff know about it now and they can look at edit history since you decided not to own up to it and apologize for being rude EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
